More than Believing

Reflection:

You've probably read John 3:16 so many times it stopped surprising you. "Whosoever believes" sounds simple, almost easy, like checking a box that says yes, that's true. But the belief Jesus talked about was never meant to live only in your head. It's the kind of trust that reshapes what you do with it every day. Think about the difference between agreeing a bridge is safe and actually walking across it. One is an opinion. The other is weight, risk, movement. Real faith puts your weight down. It says, whatever this costs me, I'm going. You may have said yes to Jesus years ago and meant every word of it then. But faith isn't a decision you made once and filed away for safekeeping. It's a daily leaning, a daily trusting, a daily choosing to follow him into whatever today actually requires of you, not just the parts that feel comfortable.

Application Question: Where in your life have you settled for agreeing with Jesus intellectually rather than actually following him practically?
