There is nothing too difficult.
Life is not without difficulties. It’s not a matter of if, but when you will experience a life-changing moment.
You will likely seek God and beg Him for a miracle.
Our faith is tested in moments like those.
Jeremiah wrote,
“Behold, I am the Lord. the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)
When you are helpless and ask God to intervene, you hope for a miracle.
As a pastor and hospice chaplain, I've sat with many people who did just that. In many cases I was greeted with these words, “If you don’t believe in miracles and won’t ask God to heal my loved one, don’t come into my house.”
I believe in miracles. I believe God can do the impossible. Sadly, I only recall one miraculous healing.
And I still believe there is not nothing too difficult for God!
While I don’t understand why God allowed a young mother, a middle aged dad, or a mom’s only child to die, my faith has never been shattered. And, for those who experienced those losses, neither was their faith shattered.
When you experience the unthinkable, don’t let the enemy rob you of God’s peace.
Everyone who has been born again will experience the greatest miracle ever … eternity in heaven where death and sin has no place!
Don’t let the devil steal that hope from you.
