God cares for you.

There may be days that God feels distant. But, God is always present in every circumstance.

I’ve sat with many people who wondered where God was at during times of suffering.

I sat with them and listened as they shared their story. Sometimes, I would ask a question to clarify something or learn more about their journey. At other times, we would sit in silence; which was difficult for me because I wanted to help them feel better.

Some people asked for biblical advice, direction, or prayer. Others didn’t want that.

We read in Isaiah 33:21-22 about one of God’s many promises:

The Lord will be our Mighty One. He will be like a wide river of protection that no enemy can cross, that no enemy ship can sail upon. For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.

No matter what you may be going through, God is your protector and will always care for you.

Never forget that in the midst of a trial.
