Our small groups have been studying Gary Chapman’s “The Five Love Languages.”  kissing

It has been a fun study.  Before we started though, I thought I was pretty good at the love thing.  Heather, our oldest daughter, told me and Rhonda we needed to do the study.  She told us how much her and Matt enjoyed it.  I did not know as much as I thought I knew.

I’ve learned that most couples, not matter how long they have been married, have the same basic issues.  Everyone wants to know they are loved and wants to be loved.  Most of us think we show our spouse how much we love them.  But, unless we know how our spouse really feels loved, we are probably missing the mark.

For Rhonda, she needs me to spend quality time with her.  I’m working on that.  I would encourage you to get a copy of the book and read it with your spouse.  Talk about it.  Practice it.  Live it.  You’ll be glad you did.
