Has Google Maps Ever Let You Down?

My wife and I volunteer as chaplains with the GA Baptist Disaster Relief Minist

Last February, my wife and I were in northern Mississippi, helping those affected by a recent ice storm.

Ms. Catina and her family had a huge tree that had fallen into their home. Rhonda and I made an appointment to visit them, so I used Google Maps to find their address and headed out.

After about an hour of driving, a friendly voice on Google Maps said, “You have arrived at your destination!” But guess what? There was no house there—just an empty field! Google Maps had let us down.

I called Ms. Catina for help, and she knew exactly where we were. She was so excited and gave us perfect directions to her home! She even drove to meet us to make sure we got there safely!

Have you ever felt lost and unsure of where to go in life?

If you’re having trouble making important decisions or dealing with relationship challenges, you’re not alone. In those moments, ask God for guidance.

Psalm 37:23 says,

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their life.

When you turn to God, He will guide your steps and walk with you on your journey.

Why? Because He loves spending time with you.
