I don’t like to do a lot on Saturday evening. I like to keep it simple and relaxed. I want to get to bed by 11:00 so I’m well rested for Sunday. It’s getting easier to fall asleep on Saturday. In the first few months of starting River Ridge, I tossed and turned a lot when I laid down on Saturday night. I was afraid that I’d forgotten to do something. I thought about the message. I wondered if anyone would show up.

Things are different now. I’m learning that God expects me to do my part during the week and to trust Him with the rest on Sunday. God wants me to spend time with him during the week. He wants me to love him. God wants me to listen to him. He wants me to trust him. If I do those things, God will take care of the rest. So, I’m chilling tonight. It’s Saturday night chill zone.
