I’m participating in an study with my eye doctor to “test drive” a new brand of bi-focal contact lenses.  Last week I had an eye exam and tried out the first pair.  I don’t know who made them, but they were SWEET!  I loved them.  I could see like never before.  I went back to the doctor today to try out “pair #2.”  I don’t like them.  Based on how I’m seeing right now, it’s going to be a long week.  I can see fine at a distance, but things look fuzzy when reading and typing.  Maybe things will get better.

Here’s a little spiritual truth from this experience . . .  even though we cannot clearly see through life’s circumstances, God is in control and will bring some good out of it.  Just remember to keep your eyes and your heart focused on Him until that happens (Romans 8:28).
