It’s time to go back . . . back to where River Ridge started.  We left the Fairplay area because we didn’t have the money to stay in a school.  Instead, we went to an industrial area in Douglasville.  The problem, though, was that it was too far from where God wanted us to plant a church.  It’s time to go back.  There are over 12,250 people living within a 10 minute drive of the “roundabout” intersection of Highway 5 & 166.  They need a group of people who will help them find real life in Jesus.

Some may say that’s not a lot of people.  That’s not the issue.  Those are the people God wants us to reach for him!  It’s time for us to return and reach them.  The challenge will be great.  It will require change and sacrifice.  We can, must, and will do it.  Nor will we do this for ourselves because it’s not about us.  It’s all about Jesus and his purpose for our lives.  “For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him” (Colossians 1:16, NIV).  We exist to please Jesus.

Beginning March 1 we will gather for worship at my house.  That gives us a month to get ready.  Our journey together has been an incredible experience.  We are about to witness something powerful . . . something much bigger than ourselves.  Our step of faith will not go unnoticed in heaven. Get ready for some extraordinary events!
