I don’t like a lot of Christians.  That may come as a shock, but it’s true.  There is a difference between “love” and “like.”  For many years, I had a hard time with this because I thought you could not love someone if you did not like them.  But that is another topic for another day.

I don’t like a lot of Christians because some of them are judgmental, weird, and hypocritical.  I’ll explain what I mean by that on Sunday.  Unless I can’t speak.  I’ve got a terrible head cold and I’m lossing my voice.  You may be thinking that God is trying to tell me not to have a message on “I don’t like a lot of Christians.”  That’s okay.  I had the same thought, talked to God about it, and still feel it’s the right message.

Maybe you don’t like a lot of Christians.  That’s why you don’t go to church.  Church people get on your nerves or under your skin.  I understand.  Why not come and listen to what I’ve got to say on Sunday?  You might be surprised at what you’ll find.

Perhaps you’re wondering why I have such a problem.  You don’t understand because you like Christians.  Good for you!  Do you like people who have a lot of tatoos?  Do you like people who have bad manners?  Do you like people who have different political views than you?  Do you like people who drive too fast or too slow?  Do you like people from other parts of the world?  You see, I believe in some way, even if it’s a small one, there’s someone or some group of people in this world that you don’t like.  Just admit it so you can deal with it.

That’s my preview for Sunday.  If you want to hear the rest, you need to get up and show up.
