Lori and I bumped into a NYC cop at the hardware store today.  So, I asked him about scooter laws in NYC.  We learned that they are treated in the same class as a motorcycle.  Basically, the rider is required to wear a helmet, have a motorcycle driver license, have a valid tag on the bike, have valid insurance, get an annual inspection, and park it on the street.  He told us that failure to observe those simple rules will result in a ticket and possible impounding of the bike.  So, instread of riding the bike back to the apartment, we pushed it!

Who has a bike that you had to push? Sounds like good exercise for the Pastor.
